What is Score?

Score is a sports consulting company specializing in motivational seminars, keynote speaking, speaking for youth, high school, and college level athletics, and coaching certification programs.  The presentations focus on the way sports should be taught, developing positive attitudes, leadership, team concepts, values, learning respect for the game, and using sports as a means for growth into adulthood and making it fun.  The program is designed to be motivational, inspirational, and emotional.  Wheather it's a banquet, seminar, preseason clinic for coaches, children, or young adults, SCORE can offer your organization and school a much needed professional approach to developing model citizens and building a respectable program.

About the Presenter

Dennis Helmstetter is well versed in sports with over 40 years of involvement in organized sports, is the father of three young men, and has been active in youth sports programs for the past 22 years. He is educated in Leadership Training and Performance Work Team Discipline.  He is the founder and owner of All Sports Officials LLC.  He is a collegiate baseball umpire, is the lead trainer for the Chesapeake Basin Collegiate Baseball Umpire Association, is a member of the board of directors for CBUA and in 2010 was choosen to umpire the Division III College Baseball World Series in Appletown, Wisconsin.  He has held positions as Vice President of Sales for Custom Leathercraft, Interdynamics Inc., Winner International, and National Sales Manager for Sun Oil Company, and Southwest Division Manager for Valvoline Oil Company.  He is the President of the Upper Makefield Basketball League (21 years).

Why Score?

Score is dedicated and committed to help improve the sports experience for our nation's youth.  It's philosophy is to represent what recreational and adolescence sports is meant to be.  A learning experience for further growth into adults.  SCORE will establish a partnership with organizations to implement the correct philosophy to improve your program.  SCORE firmly believes that its objective is to improve the sports experience for our children through the implementation of understanding the values children should be taught through sports.  Sports programs, if instructed and taught the correct way, should be a positive experience and an invaluable lesson about values needed to become model citizens as young adults.

SCORE OFFERS 3 PROGRAMS:

1. Certification Program for Coaches:

The program is designed to make people better coaches by fully understanding:

- How to get the most out of a child's ability

- How to motivate a child

- How to make the child feel good about him or herself

2. Parental Seminar Workshop:  Helping parents understand the lessons children should learn through sports.

Children are enrolled in sports at a very young age today.  Parents need to be aware that these are the learning years.  These are the years that values, attitudes, respect and leadership are learned.  The workshop is designed to help parents understand team concepts.

3. Keynote Guest Speaking:  A professional, inspirational, motivational, and emotional program that everyone must see.

Titled "Pack Your Gym Bag For Life", this presentation focuses on achievement, attitude, adversity, commitment, determination, desire, dreams, encouragement, failures, friends, future, goals, leadership, life, love, motivation, values, succes, and role models.  Dennis Helmstetter uses his 40 years of involvment in organized sports and everyday life experiences to illustrate the world of sports.  The presentation is entertaining, direct to the point, motivational, and inspiring.
